Picking up directly following the events of Firestorm #64, with Firestorm caught in the crosshairs of both Russia and the United States as the Suicide Squad and the Justice League go head-to-head in New York City. Escaping the fight and eventually making his way to Nevada, Firestorm battles against Pozhar, the Russian Nuclear Man.
