Did you catch all the excitement this week on DC Daily? There were in-depth fan discussions and surprises galore, including Jon Cryer giving viewers the scoop on Supergirl’s Lex Luthor, and Krypton’s Cameron Cuffe playing Meta Madhouse! Here are the highlights…

On Monday March 18th, the DC Daily panel (Hector Navarro, Markeia McCarty, Sam Humphries, John Kourounis and Whitney Moore) broke down their thoughts on the Young Justice: Outsiders episode “Eminent Threat”. The Team faced some difficult challenges in this episode, and the panel debated if Brion powering up was the right move. Whitney Moore was featured in the episode as Stargirl, giving her some firsthand knowledge about the production... Next, Hector Navarro told us what’s coming up on DC TV before giving his weekly “Hector Guarantee”. This week Hector recommended the DC Nation Shorts “Sword of the Atom” episodes. Afterwards, the panel returned (with the addition of Amy Dallen and Clarke Wolfe), to debate their picks for the next round of Meta Madhouse. This week featured Superman’s Aliens. And Cameron Cuffe, Seg-El in TV's Krypton, joined the gang to defend his choices. Obviously Cameron has a soft spot for Supergirl, whom he reminded us was technically his granddaughter. Check out the conversation to see how close their picks are to yours.

On Tuesday March 19th, the DC Daily panel (Hector Navarro, Sam Humphries, Amy Dallen, and John Kourounis) gave their thoughts on the one-shot Batman: The Drowned. The story raised some interesting questions on what would cause Batman to go bad, and it led the gang to imagine some scary scenarios. Afterwards, Clarke Wolfe sat down for a chat with Jon Cryer, who is currently playing Lex Luthor on TV's  Supergirl. Cryer had previously played Lex’s nephew Lenny Luthor in Superman IV: The Quest for Peace. “It feels oddly comfortable. Like a teenager, like a surely rapidly maturing teenager I had run away from the legacy of the Luthors, but you have to come back," Jon told Clarke. Lex has some sinister plans for National City, and Jon gave viewers some hints about what’s ahead... Afterwards, the DC Daily Book Club (Sam Humphries, Whitney Moore, John Kourounis, Amy Dallen, Samm Levine, and Hector Navarro) gave their thoughts on the first three chapters of Batman: Hush. “Or is it Batman: Crush," Sam Humphries quipped, as he noted all the Batman/Catwoman romance in the story. During the book discussion, Whitney Moore surprised everyone when she brought out a homemade Catwoman comic she and a friend had produced years ago. Yup, anything can happen on DC Daily...

On Wednesday March 20th, the DC Daily panel (John Kourounis, Amy Dallen, Hector Navarro, and Markeia McCarty) gave their thoughts on the Batman: Arkham video game series. They all agreed that the games brought a new level of depth to the Batman and Joker relationship. Markeia loved the fact that it felt like an enhanced episode of Batman: The Animated Series.  “You had all the voices. You were doing the cartoon and doing it in an awesome way," she remarked... After a brief featurette on the first appearance of Batgirl, the DC Daily panel discussed the 2014 animated film Batman: Assault on Arkham. Was it a Batman movie or a Suicide Squad movie? Either way, the panel had fun making up “shipping names” for the various character combinations such as “Killer Shark."

On Thursday March 21st, the DC Daily panel (Clarke Wolfe, Sam Humphries, Samm Levine, and Markeia McCarty) gave their reactions to the Doom Patrol episode “Paw Patrol”. Surprisingly, the gang had a very heated discussion on whether or not Cliff should have respected Cyborg’s wishes and not pressed his SOS button. Jane’s personalities were given a thorough analysis, as the panel wondered if Dr. Harrison was the most powerful person in her head. This episode also contained a behind-the-scenes featurette, in which April Bowlby gave viewers some insight on what makes Rita Farr tick.

On Friday March 22nd, the DC Daily panel (John Kourounis, Amy Dallen, Whitney Moore, and Sam Humphries) gave their thoughts on some of the biggest news items coming out of DC Comics this week, including an update on Frank Miller and John Romita Jr’s Superman: Year One. In anticipation of the upcoming Shazam! movie, the gang gave their thoughts on writer Geoff Johns and artist Gary Frank's Shazam: Origins. Who was the real star of this comic? If you ask the panel, Mr. Tawny seemed to be the winner by a mile... Then Clarke Wolfe had another couch chat with Jon Cryer, as they continued to get inside Lex’s twisted mind. “The world was Lex’s before Superman showed up," Jon explained. The relationship between Lex and Lena has also been a roller coaster, and from what Jon teased, it doesn’t sound like it’ll get any easier. “My understanding is that things get very interesting for Lena soon," Jon hinted. Yikes!

If you missed out on any of this, don’t forget that DC Daily is available to stream every day exclusively on DC Universe. There's always something cool planned, and next week is Batman’s 80th anniversary -- so you won’t want to miss any of the celebration! After all, you never know who might stop by the couch...
